As the HR Manager (Mexico) you will:
Recruitment & Onboarding:
Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for key roles including job postings, sourcing candidates, screening applications, conducting interviews, and coordinating hiring decisions with department managers.
Organize and lead new hire onboarding sessions, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for new employees.
Coordinate with hiring managers to define job descriptions, interview processes, and offer negotiations.
Employee Relations & Engagement:
Act as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries, ensuring a positive employee experience.
Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns, mediate conflicts, and foster a positive work environment.
Support employee engagement programs, including recognition initiatives, team-building activities, and other culture programming.
Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to improve retention strategies.
Work to enhance company culture and employee engagement.
HR Processes, Policy & Compliance:
Support the development and implementation of HR policies, processes and initiatives in alignment with business objectives.
Ensure compliance with Mexican labor laws and company policies regarding contracts, working hours, & employee rights. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local labor regulations.
Assist payroll team with employee inquiries and to ensure that employee compensation is managed in accordance with local legal requirements.
Administer and advise on employee benefits programs for the local market, including health insurance, vacation policies, and other incentives.
Handle leave management, including vacation requests, sick leave, and parental leave, in compliance with Mexican labor law.
Training & Development:
Coordinate training sessions, career development programs, and workshops.
Identify areas for employee growth and support skills development initiatives.
Professional Qualifications
5-8 years of experience in an HR Generalist, HR Manager, or similar role.
Strong knowledge of Mexican labor laws and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Action-orientated with the ability to work both in the weeds and at a strategic level.
Fluency in Spanish & English
