Your Role

As Graphic Design & Brand Standards Junior Specialist, you’ll be responsible for:

Owning BMI’s entire visual identity, ensuring brand consistency across all assets.

Reviewing, refining, and standardizing customer-facing and internal materials.

Creating and enforcing design guidelines—color palettes, typography, imagery, layouts, everything.

Enhancing the UI/UX of our software applications, ensuring professional and polished visuals wherever customization allows.

Ensuring that every document, presentation, video, ad, and interface meets a high design standard before it reaches users.

What You’ll Be Doing for Both Us and Our Clients

Designing & Standardizing Visual Assets

Maintain and evolve BMI’s brand identity across all touchpoints.
Develop brand guidelines covering typography, color schemes, imagery, and layout principles.
Create and refine templates for reports, presentations, marketing collateral, social media, and more.
Ensure every piece of content aligns with our visual standards—nothing gets published without your stamp of approval.

UI/UX Oversight

Improve the design and usability of our software products, working within customization capabilities.
Provide guidance on button placements, layouts, iconography, and user flows for an intuitive experience.
Collaborate with developers to bring visually cohesive and user-friendly designs to life.

Brand Consistency Enforcement

Audit existing materials and bring all assets up to spec.
Establish workflows to ensure brand compliance in all new materials.
Educate team members on branding best practices and empower them to maintain high design standards.

What We’re Looking For

A natural talent for design and aesthetics—professional experience is not required if you have an exceptional eye for detail.

Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, XD, etc.) or similar design tools.

A deep understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles.

A strong portfolio showcasing polished, professional, and brand-consistent work (even if it’s personal projects).

An obsessive attention to detail—you spot inconsistencies that others overlook.

Experience working with UI/UX design for web or software applications is a plus but not required.

A passion for establishing and upholding high aesthetic standards across an organization.
