Job description

Lead Product Line Manager - NIKE, Inc. - Beaverton, OR. Lead market research into athlete, club, consumer behavior and competition to ensure Nike stays at the product innovation edge for football apparel delivered to our roster of elite athletes and everyday consumers worldwide spanning all genders and age groups; monitor creation of future holistic product strategy for apparel & equipment for Nike's elite football clubs globally serving both elite athletes performance on pitch and the fans at retail of those clubs; lead team to keep projects on task and communicate to internal design, development, brand & merchandising partners, and external club and league business partners; oversee innovation product roadmap across all genders for the elite Nike football clubs globally fueling the on-pitch performance of the full roster of elite athletes at those clubs and the fan apparel at the different retail points of sale both physical and digital; oversee all product realization including the planning and evolution of product lines; accountable for the profitability of the business; inspect the entry of accurate and complete information in the data management system by junior team members and system experts; and act as the proprietor of product analysis and historical information. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S., except from AK, AL, AR, DE, HI, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MT, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, RI, SD, VT, WV, and WY. 

 

Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Marketing, International Management, or Business Administration and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a product-related occupation.  
 
Experience must include: 
 
• Line planning including gender, silhouette, and price point level 
• Line strategy including driving revenue growth for performance apparel product engine, pricing strategies, and defining future pricing strategies 
• Product line management 
• Profitability such as ensuring category target margins aligned with profitability goals  
• Conceptual thinking such as supporting senior leadership for ideas and insights, and define and shape long-term strategies 
• Leading presentations to cross-functional partners, and stakeholders  
• Crafting implementing strategies to grow the business 
• Marketplace and consumer insights
