Overview
The Engagement Manager is responsible for leading highly complex IT teams, overseeing product development, release schedules, product artifacts, and ensuring effective status reporting to the Government. This role plays a critical part in managing team efforts under the ITA initiative, ensuring alignment with ITA strategy, commitments, and goals. The Engagement Manager will leverage agile methodologies to drive performance and efficiency while maintaining compliance with OPM Information Technology Systems Manager (ITSM) standards.
Responsibilities 
  • Develop and manage project plans and schedules, outlining key milestones and deliverables.
  • Provide status updates to the Government and ensure timely delivery of product artifacts and information.
  • Direct, coordinate, and oversee the implementation, execution, control, and completion of team efforts.
  • Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and align with ITA's mission and objectives.
  • Maintain consistency with ITA strategies and goals to achieve desired project outcomes.
  • Lead teams in adopting and executing agile methodologies for effective project execution.
  • Ensure all documentation and product artifacts, including software code, comply with OPM ITSM standards.
  • Manage risk mitigation strategies and proactively address potential issues.
  • Foster collaboration among stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment of project objectives.
  • Support DevSecOps and agile transformations to improve project delivery efficiency.
Qualifications 
  • Minimum of five years of experience leading IT teams in a complex environment.
  • Expertise in overseeing product development, release schedules, and managing product artifacts.
  • Experience with Government reporting and project status tracking.
  • Strong knowledge of agile methodologies and project execution frameworks.
Required Certifications 
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Executive Certification (PMEC)
  • Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I)
  • Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) v4.0
Preferred Skills & Experience 
  • Experience working within Government contracting environments.
  • Familiarity with IT operations, system maintenance, and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Salary: $100,000 - $120,000
