Global Domain Lead, ESG

Location:     Remote, Europe (Full-Time)

Summary

The Domain Lead will become an expert in OneStream technology and use this expertise on a daily basis to present the value proposition and benefit of our solutions to partners, prospects, customers and internally supporting our sales force. A Domain Lead as a member of our Presales team will participate in the design, validation, and presentation of OneStream solutions based on customer needs which vary in complexity.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Shortening the sales cycle by delivering flawless standard and custom product demonstrations to mid and C-level executives in the Office of Finance.
• Providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers, while ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal supervision.
• Acting as a technical resource for Sales Consultants, Sales Development, and Sales representatives.
• Transforming business requirements/challenges into Proof-of-Concept- presentations.
• Developing and delivering high quality OneStream presentations and demonstrations.
• Presenting and articulating advanced product features and benefits, product future direction and overall OneStream solutions.
• Improving/maintaining standard demo assets to ensure top-notch sales presentations.
• Designing, validating, and presenting OneStream solutions to include advanced product concepts and future direction.
• Developing and managing references through high quality technical, professional client relationships.
• Developing and managing a close relationship to product management and development.
• Identify and advocate new features, functions, benefits and solutions for the platform and the marketplace.
• Acting as the subject matter expert for one or many corporate performance management processes with development and in sales cycles.
• Assist with development of marketing materials to communicate the value of the products, solutions and key features.

Required Education & Experience

• BS Degree or equivalent; advanced degree desirable in Computer Science or Technology related degree.
• Technical experience with OneStream or similar CPM tools.
• 6+ years of experience in Database Management including building, developing, and deploying applications.
• Proven ability in performing rapid assessments of customers’ landscape and targeting use cases and deployment targets for Cloud technology. Ability to provide guidance in the evaluation of OneStream’s Cloud solution.
• Experience in a customer-facing role such as consultant, technical solutions engineer, or solutions architect.
• Extraordinary presentation and public speaking skills.
• Versed and experienced with business analysis and financial modelling
• Experience in engaging with executives within the Office of Finance, Sustainability, IT and Operations on ESG
• Highly skilled and experienced ESG Thought Leader capable of providing expert guidance on ESG regulations, frameworks, reporting requirements, and emerging trends in different industries.
• Strong knowledge of ESG frameworks such as the EU regulation (CSRD/ESRS, CSDDD) Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), and Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD). As well as knowledge on Interoperability between the different standards
• Knowledge and experience from working with rating agencies like CDP, Ecovadis or Sustainalytics.
• Experience with defining Science Based Targets Initiatives (SBTIs)
• Ability to build collaborative relationships and influence internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including working with Presales, Sales, Product Management and Product Marketing
• Background in Finance/Accounting/ESG with professional qualifications related to ESG is preferred
• Ability to adapt to rapidly evolving ESG regulations to support the development and maintenance of standard demo assets.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey ESG initiatives to stakeholders

Preferred Education & Experience

• Previous experience as a Services Consultant, Database Administrator, or Technical Pre-Sales is preferred.
• Previous experience working on ESG in industry is preferred
