The Role:
As a Lead Frontend Engineer, you’ll be at the helm of our frontend architecture, crafting seamless, high-performance web experiences for a rapidly growing B2B SaaS product in the GRC industry. This is a key position where you’ll set technical direction, drive innovation, and elevate our design system to the next level

Responsibilities
  • Own the frontend architecture, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance.
  • Lead the development of a design system, enabling a consistent and seamless user experience across the platform.
  • Collaborate with product designers, backend engineers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into elegant frontend solutions.
  • Implement and advocate best practices in UI/UX, ensuring accessibility, responsiveness, and pixel-perfect execution.
  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive frontend test suite to ensure reliability and stability.
  • Optimize performance and usability by fine-tuning frontend code and leveraging the right tools and technologies.
  • Mentor and guide other frontend engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

  • Requirements
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in building large-scale web applications.
  • Proven expertise in architecting and managing complex frontend codebases.
  • Strong opinions on UI/UX best practices, with an eye for detail and usability.
  • Prior experience in building and managing a design system.
  • Deep understanding of JavaScript, modern frontend frameworks (React preferred), and state management patterns.
  • Experience in frontend performance optimization, testing strategies, and accessibility standards.
  • A pragmatic approach to technology—you pick the right tool for the job, not just the trendiest one.
  • Bonus: Experience with our current tech stack: Node.js, React, Apollo GraphQL, Postgres, AWS.
