Redstone Commodity Search are working with a global trading house looking to hire a fertilisers trader to join the commercial team.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best deals and ensure a reliable supply chain.
- Monitor and analyse market trends, prices, and supply-demand dynamics to make informed trading decisions.
- Develop and nurture relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored fertiliser solutions.
- Managing risks, taking long / short positions.
- Reports into CEO.
Key Qualifications / Experience
- Proven experience in trading, sales, or a related role within the agricultural or fertiliser industry. Knowledge of agricultural practices and fertiliser products is highly desirable.
- Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships, having active clients to bring is preferable.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and trends.
- Role will be worked remotely.
