Responsibilities:

Maintain and extend our Kubernetes platform
Improve Performance & Reliability of our production platform
Ensure proper observability of the production systems
Assist with database and service performance tuning
Collaborate with Development Engineers on the impacts of new features
Identify architecture bottlenecks and work with Engineering on new solutions
Collaborate with Support on operational runbooks

Requirements:

Minimum 2+ years Kubernetes
Terraform
OCI (Oracle Cloud) required, multi-cloud experience preferred
Container lifecycle
Programming Go, Python or similar
Database optimization
Network level troubleshooting

Education and Experience:

At least 8+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent experience preferred 
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
GCP / GKE much preferred.
