We are seeking a highly skilled Expert Product Owner (EPO) with 15+ years of experience in IT program management, agile methodologies, and technical leadership. This is a remote position based in Europe (far-site), ideal for a strategic and results-driven professional with expertise in Middleware systems, Agile frameworks, and data modeling.

ο»ΏWhat Will You Do?
β Develop and coordinate an efficient Work Programme with multiple project teams.
β Review, monitor, and manage program execution while ensuring high standards of quality, satisfaction, and performance.
β Drive program governance, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
β Act as the final authority for decisions on priority, business value, and functionality in an agile environment.
β Engage with stakeholders to validate requirements and propose solutions by integrating IT tools with business process improvements.
β Create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog based on business value and return on investment.
β Define and validate user stories, acceptance criteria, and sprint deliverables in collaboration with development teams.
β Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos, ensuring effective SCRUM implementation.
β Facilitate user acceptance and product deployment while maintaining high-quality standards.
β Manage communication and transparency, ensuring smooth information dissemination across teams.
β Identify and resolve defects, support test strategy development, and contribute to continuous improvement.
β May also perform the role of Scrum Master when required.

β¨ 15+ years of experience in IT program/project management.
β¨ Strong background in Middleware systems (Weblogic, Oracle Service Bus) and messaging platforms (JMS, Apache Kafka).
β¨ Extensive knowledge of JEE and RDBMS, with experience in system and data modeling (UML & BPMN).
β¨ Expertise in Agile methodologies (SCRUM, SAFe) and Agile tools such as Jira and Atlassian suite.
β¨ Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
β¨ Ability to write clear and structured technical documentation and participate in high-level technical discussions.
β¨ Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing large-scale projects in multicultural environments.
β¨ Experience working with European Commission projects and handling confidential data is a plus.
β¨ French and English proficiency (B2 level or higher) is preferred
Preferred Certifications & Standards:
β Program Management, Agile, SAFe certifications are highly desirable.
β At least 3 years of expertise in Weblogic or other JEE containers.
β At least 5 years of experience in Data & Process Modeling.
