Aufgaben
Coordinating the architecture and development process of an Linux based automotive telematic control unit (TCU) with focus on system functions and applications
System functions are SW flash, SW update, diagnostics, life cycle management, sleep mode and wakeup services, remote configuration, and vehicle internal communication
Responsibility for the system development over the whole product life cycle
Alignment of the requirements, architecture and implementation concepts with all stakeholders with the car manufacturer as well as the tier 1 supplier developing the TCU
Participation in architecture and development project meetings and clarification of architectural design and implementation details
Support of test and validation processes, SW delivery management, stability and performance topics
Continuous project reporting
Profil
A degree in electrical engineering, preferably communications engineering, or a comparable educational background, that has been successfully completed
Experience in the development of embedded systems (HW Abstraction, Watchdogs, Bootloader…)
Linux know-how (User/group management, systemd, performance/stability optimizations, IPC…)
Independent, proactive and systematic approach to working
Experience in the design of SW architectures in UML is an advantage
Very good team and communication skills
Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken
