Overall purpose and responsibilities of the role:
As a Marketing Assistant you will be responsible in helping to organise creative marketing projects that drive engagement and growth, support the marketing team, and coordinate marketing collateral and activities that add value to the company, customers, and stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Photo Editing & Coordination: Edit and coordinate photos within the marketing team and across departments, from initiation to completion.
- Website & Database Management: Upload and monitor product and action photos on the Granberg website and multimedia database.
- Assistance with Photos & Graphic Design Support: Assist in the production of photos and marketing collateral.
- Content Creation: Contribute to creating engaging marketing content, including blog posts, social media updates, and presentations.
- Event Support: Assist in organising and executing events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
- Market Research Assistance: Support market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and the competitive landscape.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the team on various assignments and projects, including coordinating translations, new postings on the Intranet/internal communications, and sales support.
Administrative tasks: Answering emails, assisting customers in getting the right photos, uploading and updating database, communicating with the marketing teams in terms of the product/marketing list, assisting competitor research, content creation and events.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Marketing
- At least 2 to 3 years of experience as a Marketing Assistant.
- Relevant education in marketing, communication, graphic design, or similar fields.
- Experience in developing and designing visual marketing content.
- Administrative experience, including working with a PIM system, is desirable.
- Experience in using Graphic Design tools like Adobe Creative Suite – Required
- Experience in using Figma, Canva, Photoshop, and Illustrator – Advantageous
- Knowledgeable in using Microsoft, Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, Intranet and Sharepoint – Advantageous
- Basic knowledge of photography to help with photography tasks and contribute to the production of catalogues.
- Ability to edit images and create presentations in PowerPoint professionally.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain good time management in a fast-paced environment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in Norwegian and English.
