Job Title: Business Development Representative
Location:
Remote (1 position in CST & 1 position in PST)
Salary Range:
up to 1800 USD

Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (1 in CST, 1 in PST)

Position Overview:


We are seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team remotely. This role focuses on identifying and engaging potential customers, qualifying leads, and driving sales for SaaS products within the waste and multi-family industry. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage potential customers through outbound calls, emails, and social media.
  • Conduct discovery conversations to understand customer needs, pain points, and objectives.
  • Clearly articulate the value of our SaaS platform, tailoring presentations and product demonstrations accordingly.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets by converting qualified leads into customers.
  • Qualify, nurture, and close sales opportunities for key DSQ Technologies products, including Pioneer compactor monitoring, Tilt service verification sensors, Discovery invoice automation, and Hauler software services.
  • Operate independently from a home office, managing time and resources effectively.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to refine messaging and improve the onboarding experience.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and best practices in SaaS sales.
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM, logging customer interactions and sales activities.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role (preferably in tech or SaaS industries).
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and customer engagement strategies.
  • Excellent communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to quickly build rapport and establish trust with potential customers.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce (Linear is a plus but not required).


Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience in the waste management, recycling, or multi-family industry.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to sales.
