Compensation:
COP 9M - 11M/month.
Location:
Remote (for Colombia and Argentina residents).

What makes you a strong candidate:
You are proficient Cloud DBA (Cloud database administration), database monitoring, PostgreSQL, and troubleshooting.
Spanish - Native or fully fluent.
English - Native or fully fluent.
Responsibilities and more:
We are looking for a Cloud Database Administrator to manage and optimize Microsoft SQL Server and other databases in cloud environments. This role includes monitoring, performance tuning, security, and multi-region deployments to ensure high availability and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and support Microsoft SQL Server and other cloud databases (Postgres, MariaDB, Microsoft Dataverse).
Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimizations.
Manage multi-region deployments and read replicas.
Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards.
Collaborate with development teams to design scalable database solutions.
Perform backups, restorations, and disaster recovery testing.
Stay updated on cloud database technologies and best practices.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
Proven experience as a Database Administrator in cloud environments.
Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and experience with Postgres, MariaDB, Microsoft Dataverse.
Knowledge of multi-region deployments and read replicas.
Proficiency in database monitoring and performance tuning.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
