Role Overview:

Turno is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join its growing Engineering team. You’ll be responsible for building and maintaining the infrastructure and tools that support platform development, deployment, and operations. Working closely with other engineers, you’ll ensure scalability, reliability, and security across Turno’s systems.

Responsibilities:

• CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and manage continuous integration & deployment pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.

• Cloud Infrastructure: Manage and maintain cloud environments (GCP preferred), ensuring high availability, performance, and security.

• Configuration Management: Implement and maintain tools like Ansible or Puppet to automate provisioning and system configurations.

• Monitoring & Logging: Set up and maintain monitoring and logging tools (New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana) to track performance and detect issues.

• Security: Apply security best practices to protect Turno’s infrastructure and data, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.

• Collaboration: Support developers by improving DevOps workflows and deployment processes.

Mandatory Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering.

• Proven experience with Laravel/PHP.

• Hands-on experience with GCP (or similar cloud platforms).

• Proficiency in CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).

• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, etc.).

• Strong knowledge of Terraform and infrastructure-as-code practices.

• Scripting skills in Python or Bash.

• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.

• Experience with monitoring & logging tools (New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana).

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

• Fluent English.

Bonus Points:

• Experience with security technologies (firewalls, intrusion detection, etc.).

• Background in incident management and on-call support.

• Experience with database administration or networking.
