Overview

The ABAP BTP RAP (Business Technology Platform Rapid Application Programming) Developer plays a crucial role in the development and enhancement of innovative applications on the SAP BTP system. Key Responsibilities

Design and develop applications using SAP BTP and ABAP RAP.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
Create key technical documentation, including functional specifications and design documents.
Implement efficient backend logic and data models for application functionality.
Utilize the latest development tools and frameworks to enhance application performance.
Conduct code reviews and participate in peer programming sessions.
Optimize existing processes and applications for better efficiency.
Provide technical support and troubleshoot application issues.
Integrate various SAP services and third-party systems as needed.
Stay updated with SAP technologies and industry trends to ensure best practices.
Participate in regular sprint meetings and progress updates.
Ensure compliance with SAP development standards and guidelines.

Participate in training and mentoring junior developers.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience in ABAP programming and SAP BTP applications.
Strong understanding of RAP frameworks and methodologies.
Experience with object-oriented programming principles.
Familiarity with database queries and SQL language.
Prior experience in application integration techniques.
Demonstrated ability to write efficient and maintainable code.
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience in Agile development methodologies.
Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Knowledge of SAP Fiori and user experience design principles is a plus.
Certifications related to SAP development are advantageous.
Willingness to continually learn and adapt to new technologies.
At least 3-5 years of relevant work experience in SAP development environments.
