JOB DESCRIPTION

On-site and remote customer support for laser systems for scientific and commercial customers
Upgrade, maintenance and repair of laser systems
Troubleshoot electronis at board level and troubleshooting electro-optical, electrical and mechanical problems
Installation and customer training in the use of laser systems
Drawing up activity reports
Extensive travel around Germany, Switzerland and lager Europe and occasionally other parts of the world

Qualification

University degree in electronic, electrotechnic or electrical engineering or similar qualification
Min. 3 years of experience as a service technician in an industrial environment
Laser experience, especially of ultrafast laser technology would be a major advantage
Exceptional customer service skills
Good knowledge of Windows-based systems is a plus
Good communication skills in German and English
Highly motivated team player, well organized and capable of handling several projects simultaneously
