About The Job

We are a growing recruitment agency, expanding our internal capabilities and processes. To support our growth, we’re seeking a Financial and Performance Controller to take charge of financial operations, manage reporting, and drive performance improvements.

In this role, you’ll run financial reporting (P&L, cash flow, balance sheet) using Google Sheets, monitor invoicing processes, and contribute to operational efficiency by managing performance metrics, OKRs, and process improvements. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in finance or accounting who is also passionate about improving systems and processes.

Responsibilities

Financial Management

  • Run and maintain P&L, Cash Flow, and Balance Sheet reports in Google Sheets/Excel.
  • Monitor existing financial reporting systems and propose migration to other tools if beneficial.
  • Issue and monitor client and talent invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Performance Management

  • Develop and track KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and recommending actions.
  • Maintain and update OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) on a monthly basis.
  • Conduct market analysis and gather data to support strategic decision-making.

Operational Optimization

  • Drive process improvements based on performance results and insights.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.
  • Support the development and execution of a performance management system.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience:
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in financial reporting, invoicing, and performance management.
  • Skills and Competencies:
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel, including advanced functions for financial reporting.
  • Strong understanding of P&L, Cash Flow, and Balance Sheet concepts.
  • Experience developing and tracking KPIs and OKRs.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and propose actionable improvements.
  • Familiarity with process optimization and workflow improvements.
  • Preferred (but not required):
  • Experience working in small teams or startups.
  • Familiarity with recruitment or HR-related operations.
  • Personal Attributes:
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Proactive, with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Comfortable working in a flexible, remote environment.
