Minimum of 10-12 years of BPO or professional services experience with 6-8 years of Global payroll processing experience
Knowledge of Finnish at least B2
Must Have
Graduate in any stream
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience in Global Payroll Processing
Results and deadline driven
Experience in managing invoicing and billing
Good experience in coordinating with customer and vendor for Payroll inputs and validation
Computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
Experience in HRMS/ERP like (SAP, SuccessFactors, workday etc.)
Good to have
Experience in multi country payroll processing will be an advantage
Experience on Payroll systems such as ADP Streamline, Celergo, SAP Payroll, CGI, Lessorlon, Decidium or Dayforce will be added advantage
Responsibilities:
Responsible for overseeing and directing payroll procedures, ensuring compliance with laws and tax obligations, supervising the payroll team, and maintaining accurate payroll records
Coordinate activities with other client departments to ensure successful testing and implementation of tax updates, year-end testing on multiple or single payroll ERP for all regions
Broad understanding and ability to research and interpret payroll laws
Maintain the requisite Payroll reports for SOX or other local compliance. Handle employment termination payments and exceptions
Ensures compliance with applicable payroll tax and labor law requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
Ensures that internal SOPs and statutory regulations summaries are continuously updated and reflect the latest regulations and process updates
Answers consultants’ procedural questions by researching and interpreting SOPs and statutory regulations.
Coach and help develop team members; help bridge knowledge gaps and overcome skill and will issues
Handle User/customer escalations and formulate actions to resolve any concerns and ownership till resolution
Identify process improvement opportunities and support/lead transformation & automations projects
