Founded as AgilityFeat in 2010, we began to focus on WebRTC in 2015. We are headquartered in Charlottesville, VA with a QA/testing center in Panama City, Panama, and a new remote office in Bogotá, Colombia. We’ve always worked remotely, which is part of what makes us so passionate about remote communications.

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer with extensive experience developing complex applications with React and Next.js and experience with audio and video protocols such as WebRTC or libraries/tools such as FFmpeg, WebCodecs, MediaRecorder API, or similar.

After successfully demonstrating proficiency in this role, you may have the opportunity to receive our WebRTC training.

Please note: Fluent English is essential for seamless communication within our teams and with international stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture and Development: Design and build scalable, maintainable, and high-performance React applications that deliver an exceptional user experience
Collaboration: Work closely with back-end engineers (.NET/Node), product managers, and designers to ensure seamless integration and optimal system performance
Innovation: Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and implement new technologies to optimize front-end architecture
UX Advocacy: Maintain a strong focus on user experience by creating intuitive and engaging interfaces that delight our customers

Technical Requirements

Fluent English (C or greater) is mandatory
Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer, with 3+ years of experience developing complex applications with React and Node/js
Experience with Azure or AWS cloud services.
Experience with audio and video protocols such as WebRTC or libraries/tools such as FFmpeg, WebCodecs, MediaRecorder API, or similar.
Experience with Microsoft Teams Application development is an advantage
Experience with .NET and/or Vue.js is an advantage
Proficiency in Next.js: Solid familiarity with Next.js
Architectural Knowledge: Demonstrated ability to design and develop scalable front-end solutions
JavaScript Versatility: Experience with other modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries is a plus
API Knowledge: Familiarity with RESTful APIs and back-end integration
Familiarity with automated testing frameworks is a plus
Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields (or equivalent experience)
