Position Description:

This is a Sales Lead role that will focus on the Transportation and Logistics industry. In this role, you will be responsible for winning and growing new logos across a variety of digital offerings, as well as leading and mentoring a business development team. You will work directly with the customers, client partners and internal teams, bringing ideas and innovation to customer relationships. You will be running the deals and will be accountable for shaping new deals, developing the sales strategy, aligning the teams to that strategy, and leading the team through both our internal processes and client processes to close the deals. You will sell a wide portfolio of marketing, digital, cloud, data, and customer experience offerings to clients in the transportation and logistics industry. You will be a key member of the revenue organization, contributing to the overall growth of the company.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Build and execute business development plans to prospect, engage, position, and win new logo opportunities in the defined territory/segment for named and unnamed new logos.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to campaign around key service offerings to assigned territory/segment prospects.
  • Develop, implement and maintain strategic account plans alongside client partners, to achieve both client outcomes and achieve Bridgenext’s revenue, growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction targets.
  • Focus on identifying, qualifying, developing, shaping, and closing large and complex deals, involving multiple solutions, geographies, and stakeholders
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new logo clients, understanding their business needs, objectives, and challenges.
  • Collaborate with clients to identify opportunities for digital services that align with their business objectives. Digital Services examples include Discovery, Strategy, Roadmap, Design and Implementation of Cloud, Digital Platforms, Data and AI, Customer Experience, Infrastructure and Digital Engineering services etc.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to respond to RFPs and ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate with client partners to expand the new logo accounts by solving client problems using digital services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to draft and negotiate contracts, renewals, and service-level agreements to ensure mutually beneficial client partnerships.
  • Collaborate with partners on new opportunities and bring the best of partner technologies to clients
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to provide strategic insights to clients.
  • Craft and deliver winning proposals and presentations that demonstrate differentiation
  • Actively contribute to revenue forecasting, resource/staffing forecasting and annual budgeting process. Maintain salesforce hygiene and progress opportunities at least once a week.
  • Mentor and lead a business development team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, engineering, computer science, marketing or related field.
  • Proven experience in business development roles, leading and closing multi million $ deals, preferably in the domains of cloud, digital, data, marketing and customer experience.
  • Several years’ experience and domain knowledge selling into top transportation and logistics companies.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment, with a high degree of flexibility and adaptability.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and growing revenue and market share in a global environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and persuade at all levels.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively.
  • Ability to motivate, mentor, and develop talent.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the latest technologies, trends, and best practices in the industry.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required.
