The Search and Content Discovery team enables customers to efficiently find the right content for their projects. Whether users have a specific need or require guidance through recommendations, this team ensures a seamless and effective discovery experience.
The Senior Product Manager, Search and Content Discoveryplays a critical role in optimizing search relevance and personalization across a global, localized search platform. This role is responsible for improving content discovery for a library of over 400 million images and videos, ensuring diverse and inclusive results tailored to customers' needs.
Your Next Challenge:
Strategy & Vision
• Lead the long-term search and discovery strategy, focusing on making visual content more discoverable through AI/ML, algorithms, and recommendations
• Align search capabilities with company objectives through partnerships with business, research, and engineering stakeholders
• Stay ahead of industry trends in search, AI, and natural language processing to drive innovation
• Align search capabilities with overall company objectives by working closely with marketing, UX, and business stakeholders
Product Development
• Drive the product roadmap for search experiences, balancing quick wins with long-term infrastructure improvements.
• Define and prioritize features that enhance relevance, ranking, and personalization.
• Partner with engineering to optimize search infrastructure, indexing, and query performance
Analytics & Optimization
• Define and track KPIs that measure search effectiveness and business impact
• Lead experimentation through A/B testing to validate hypotheses and drive improvements
• Analyze search patterns, user behavior, and customer feedback to identify optimization opportunities
• Transform data insights into actionable product improvements
Customer and Market Understanding
• Collaborate with customer support and research to identify and address recurring search challenges
• Partner with content and merchandising teams to optimize for different user intents
Team Leadership
• Lead cross-functional teams including engineering, data science, design, and research
• Mentor junior team members and foster strong product management practices
• Develop and iterate on team processes to improve execution efficiency
What You'll Need:7+ years of Product Management experience on a team focused on search relevance, recommendations, and/or personalization Relevant experience in building and shipping products in an iterative test-and-learn environment together with teams of engineers, data scientists, designers, and customer researchers, resulting in significant business impact Strong written and verbal communication skills.
