What We’re Looking For
As a Business Development Representative, you will play a critical role in Simpli.fi’s national sales division by driving qualified new business opportunities for our senior sales directors. This is an incredible ground-floor opportunity to contribute to the growth of one of the most exciting programmatic platforms in the market while setting the stage for your own career advancement into quota-carrying sales roles.
This role is designed as a stepping stone into a quota-carrying senior sales role within Simpli.fi’s national sales division. Top performers will have the opportunity to work with our most tenured and professional sales staff while pursuing advancement in an exciting and competitive industry.
While candidates across the U.S. are welcome to apply for these initial hires, Simpli.fi is prioritizing applicants in the Northwest or Southwest regions to align with team dynamics and regional opportunities.
What You’ll Be Doing
Conduct outreach to agency and brand-direct marketing executives through calls, emails, and LinkedIn to schedule and confirm high-quality meetings.
Build a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities for senior sales directors to pursue.
Collaborate with senior sales directors to strategize and optimize outreach efforts.
Maintain accurate records of activities, prospects, and outcomes in CRM tools like Salesforce.
Stay informed about industry trends to effectively communicate Simpli.fi’s value proposition.
Generate 15 completed qualified meetings per month with unique prospect organizations or contacts (post-training and ramp-up).
Contribute directly to revenue growth by creating high-value opportunities for Simpli.fi’s senior sales directors.
YOU’LL HAVE THE FOLLOWING TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:
1-2 years in Sales, with a strong interest and passion for a career in Sales
Preferred background in programmatic advertising, digital advertising, ad agencies, or brand marketing teams.
Bonus experience in sales or customer-facing roles within advertising or media.
Strong communication, organization, and time-management abilities.
A proactive mindset with a focus on learning and continuous improvement.
Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and outreach tools is a plus.

The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Simpli.fi, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current total comp range is $78,000 - $84,000 with a base of $60,000.
