Your role, your impact
As the senior director of services for the Microsoft D365 practice, you will be a key leader overseeing a team of Microsoft professionals, managing multiple D365 ERP and CE projects, and driving Alithya’s expansion in the US and Canada. Your strong leadership skills will be crucial in communicating project direction, managing client expectations, building successful client relationships, and guiding Alithya project teams to successful outcomes. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining team utilization and providing business and financial reports to the executive level.
This role is open to candidates across the United States. Travel will be required up to 20% of the time. 25-30% of the role will be billable.
Your day-to-day
Assist with delivery presentations during the sales cycle;
Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions as needed;
Ensure project teams have the necessary skills and tools to succeed;
Provide leadership and direction for project managers;
Align project goals with the practice’s PMO business objectives and ensure compliance;
Develop reference clients;
Build relationships with key executive and C-suite client stakeholders;
Manage client accounts receivables;
Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the company, ensuring they are informed about project progress and potential issues;
Ensure all project financials are accurate and submitted on time;
Identify and manage project risks and issues, ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards;
Provide director-level project governance on multiple projects, ensuring timely, within-scope and on-budget delivery.
Keys to your success
Master’s or bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related field;
Minimum of 8 years of management experience in a consulting environment;
Experience in a SOX-compliant company and with engaging with C-Suite and executive leadership, both internal and external;
Experience implementing or managing ERP/CRM projects prior to moving into management;
Solid understanding of project financials, project management methodologies and tools;
Strong industry knowledge in at least one of the following areas: Food and Beverage, Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Professional Services, Higher Education, Life Sciences, Building and Industrial Products, Retail, Commerce, PMO, etc.;
Ability to manage all aspects of the consulting business from sales to post go-live;
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
Excellent leadership, negotiation and decision-making skills.
Extra edge
PMP certification or equivalent;
Practice management experience;
Bilingualism (English and French).
