About the Role:

We are looking for an Anti-Fraud Specialist to join our Risk Operations team.
This role offers unparalleled access to the heart of the crypto and fintech industries. You will be responsible for identifying and preventing fraudulent activity, protecting our users, and ensuring smooth financial operations.

Reporting to the Head of Risk Operations, you’ll work with Compliance and Customer Support teams.

Your Role:

• Monitor suspicious financial transactions to detect and prevent fraudulent activity.
• Investigate and process tickets received from Customer Support related to rejected or suspicious transactions.
• Handle chargebacks from payment systems, collecting and analysing documentation to support dispute resolution efforts.
• Collaborate and exchange information with financial partners, banks, and payment systems for fraud prevention.
• Analyse fraud reports, ensuring timely accounting and thorough processing.
• Prepare and maintain regular fraud prevention reports.
• Verify transaction legitimacy and the origin of funds, requesting supporting documentation when necessary.
  

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in fraud prevention, preferably within banks, payment services, or fintech organisations.
• Familiarity with blockchain technology and cryptocurrency usage fundamentals.
• Proficient in English (at least Upper-Intermediate level).
  
• Strong analytical and investigative skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Previous experience in cryptocurrency projects is a strong advantage.
• Strong understanding of international payment systems' rules (e.g., VISA, MasterCard) related to claims and fraud prevention.
