We are seeking a Zoho Systems Architect & Development Specialist to take ownership of our IT system architecture, Zoho One customization, and integrations. This is a hybrid role that blends business analysis, system architecture, development, and integration to ensure our technology stack supports business operations efficiently.
This person will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing Zoho One to meet our business needs while also ensuring smooth integrations with external tools. They will also play a strategic role in identifying new technologies, automation opportunities, and IT solutions that improve productivity and drive business growth.
This is a key strategic position that will ensure our IT systems and Zoho environment are fully optimized for efficiency, automation, and long-term scalability. This person will be the driving force behind our digital transformation, making sure our business technology evolves with our growth.
1. Systems Architecture & Business Process Optimization
- Act as the Zoho Systems Architect, designing the overall structure of our Zoho One ecosystem.
- Analyze business workflows and design an IT infrastructure that aligns with company objectives.
- Establish best practices for scalability, security, and system efficiency.
- Ensure that our Zoho One environment is structured for long-term growth.
2. Zoho Development & Customization
- Develop and customize Zoho One applications (Zoho CRM, Zoho Creator, Zoho Books, etc.).
- Implement Deluge scripting, workflow automation, and custom Zoho integrations.
- Ensure that all Zoho customizations are aligned with business needs and improve efficiency.
- Continuously optimize Zoho One for better automation and process streamlining.
3. System Integration & API Management
- Connect Zoho to third-party applications via APIs, middleware, and automation tools.
- Ensure data consistency, security, and performance across integrations.
- Troubleshoot integration failures and optimize for scalability and speed.
- Explore low-code/no-code solutions to reduce development complexity.
4. IT Project Management & Technology Implementation
- Lead IT system development projects from planning to execution.
- Work with business teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Manage freelancers and external developers when necessary for specialized Zoho projects.
- Ensure rapid execution of IT projects without excessive planning delays.
5. Research & Innovation in Business Technology
- Identify new technologies, automation tools, and IT solutions to improve business efficiency.
- Stay updated with Zoho One updates, new features, and best practices.
- Proactively suggest IT innovations that can drive new service offerings or improve operations.

Skills & Experience Required
Technical Skills:
5+ years of experience in Zoho One customization, system architecture, and API integrations.
Strong knowledge of Zoho CRM, Creator, Books, and other Zoho applications.
Experience with Deluge scripting and Zoho workflows.
Ability to design and manage Zoho-to-third-party software integrations.
Strong data structuring, automation, and business process design skills.
Project & Business Knowledge:
Ability to understand business operations and translate them into system architecture.
Experience leading IT projects (preferably within an Agile or Lean development environment).
Vendor & freelancer management experience (outsourcing development tasks when necessary).
