We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer - CI/CD & IaC Specialist to join our growing team and help us push the boundaries of DevOps excellence.

Role Overview

The DevOps Engineer will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimising CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and IaC solutions for our operations. You will collaborate with developers, architects, and stakeholders to create robust workflows that drive efficiency and scalability. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our AI initiatives and shape the company's future technology direction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and optimisation of CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, with emphasis on Python, containerisation, and UI development.
• Integrate and build advanced Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates using Pulumi and CloudFormation to support stable, scalable architecture.
• Implement and maintain artifact deployment systems, particularly with Nexus.
• Drive potential GitLab migration to AWS, ensuring a smooth, secure, and efficient transition.
• Collaborate with development teams to design and implement AWS architecture deployments.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, offering insights into best practices for CI/CD, IaC, and cloud deployments.
• Support the adoption of AI-driven initiatives, assisting in workflows and deployment scalability.
• Champion reusability by creating pipeline templates and IaC standards.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

Essentials

• Proven experience creating and managing CI/CD pipelines with GitLab.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
• Hands-on expertise with IaC tools, especially Pulumi and CloudFormation.
• Strong understanding of containerisation and build management tools such as Docker.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git).

Desirable

• Development experience in DevSecOps using GitLab.
• Knowledge of AI workflows and how to handle deployments/enhancements in this domain.
• Experience in Nexus artifact management and repository structures.
• A proactive problem-solving attitude with a passion for collaboration.
