Your challenge:

As our Senior Accounts Payable Manager within the Finance team, you will be pivotal for the accounts payable process across our European Entities. Reporting to our Team Lead Accounting and collaborating with our Accountants, you'll play a crucial part to help us get our accounts payable processes ready for continued company growth.              

Your responsibilities:Maintain the efficient running of accounts payable, including managing purchase orders, and employee expenses process in line with our current procedures.

  • Oversee and continuously improve the efficient operation of the accounts payable process, including the management of purchase orders and employee expenses, in line with best practices and organisational requirements.

  • Proactively identify, resolve, and escalate complex payment or billing issues with vendors.

  • Develop, document, and implement robust policies and procedures to ensure the scalability, accuracy, and compliance of accounts payable processes.

  • You are a proactive driver for achieving and continuously optimising our fast close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

  • Ensure invoices are recorded accurately, classified appropriately, and paid on time within agreed terms.

  • ownership on accounts payable tools

  • main point of contact for the TaxFix Group with regard to any accounts payable requests

Your profile:

  • Several years of practical experience as a financial accountant (Accounts Payable).                 

  • A successfully completed bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, management, or a related field.

  • Extensive knowledge of accounting and management principles and accounts payable procedures.

  • Proficiency with business solutions and bookkeeping software is a plus.           

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment where a high level of accuracy and problem-solving skills matter.

  • Commitment to ethical behaviour with a willingness to adhere to the company policies.

  • Fluent in English, German is a plus.
