This is the right opportunity for a seasoned People leader with experience in building and growing people function in a product first organization, with about 2-4 years in a people leadership role, and who is ready to step in as a hands on leader to drive growth.
Requirements
✅ What you will be working on/responsible for
- HR policies: establish and implement relevant HR policies to support our employees in multiple countries
- Career framework: work with department managers to establish and implement career framework, ensuring its communicated and understood by all employees. Establish L&D initiatives to help employees grow in their career.
- Compensation structure: establish and implement effective compensation structure in multiple geographies we are working in. This includes bonus and equity/ESOP structure.
- Performance management: establish and embed performance management framework, work with managers on successfully implementing it.
- Employee experience: establish and track eNPS
- Ad hoc HR issues and tasks: be a point person for any ad hoc issues and questions, ensuring that all employees feel comfortable approaching you with any feedback
- Onboarding: creating, and further leading, an effective onboarding flow, building on our existing foundation.
- Supporting founders: lead people initiatives together with leadership team, driving improvements and ensuring we remain people focused organization as we grow in size. Offer suggestions and coach leadership team on how they can improve.
- HR Tools and Contract management: uplift the HR tech stack we use. Work with legal and finance team to manage employment contracts and employees working on contract basis. Review contract itself with legal and implement improvements. Work with external providers where necessary.
- Be a “culture creator”: Guard our values throughout the organization as we work in the remote first context in a multi cultural environment.
- Support the leadership team in defining OKRs for the organization in addition to driving the definition of People related OKRs
✅ Experience we expect you to bring to the role
- Positive mindset and servant leadership style
- Player -coach: comfortable with being hands on in HR concepts whilst exhibiting thought leadership in people related subjects
- (preferred) Experience scaling series A venture to later stages
- Experience in a dynamic, developing and chaotic environment
- Experience building effective processes and frameworks from scratch
- Experience in a multi cultural, remote first environment, preferably spanning across North America and Europe
