ABOUT THE ROLE
The Account Executive will be responsible for supporting the interwoven client team across client initiatives, which will focus on patient advocacy and engagement, advocacy group relations and meeting management. Other client initiatives may include product communications, consumer marketing, corporate communications, branding and positioning as well as digital and social strategy. This person will have exceptional organization and communication skills, be a resourceful and effective problem solver, maintain a high level of attention to detail while managing multiple projects and have a general understanding of the biotech and pharmaceutical landscape. A willingness to learn and collaborate within a team environment, as well as the ability to thrive independently and exercise effective critical thinking skills, are key factors in this role.
Job Responsibilities
Manage communications and logistics coordination with client teams, patients, and patient advocacy group members for attendance at client summits and in-person or virtual meetings
Support development of materials and communications for patient advocacy-focused activities and events, such as discussion guides, presentation decks, and newsletters, and review materials for consistency, accuracy, and proper use of grammar
Prepare, submit, and monitor materials following the client’s medical/legal/regulatory review process using Veeva
Actively listen and take notes during internal and external calls, develop agenda/call recaps with next steps, and contribute as assigned during calls
Coordinate with interwoven and project management teams to manage and adhere to deadlines and project timelines
Take direction from team members, follow through, and make corrections to stay on track, adhering to project timelines
Proactively identify, anticipate, and address client and team action items and next steps to ensure client needs are met in a timely manner
Adhere to Spectrum’s guidelines in recording and submitting time, expenses, and POs utilizing proper job codes
Desired Skills and Qualifications
Obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in communications, English or similar major
Has at least 1-2 years agency experience, interest in healthcare and science communications/public relations
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams)
Knowledge of Veeva and medical/legal/regulatory review processes, including annotating and referencing
Proficiency in basic survey programs, such as SurveyMonkey and Google Forms
Familiarity with live and virtual events
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and demonstrates adaptability to new information and shifting priorities
Extreme attention to detail
Professional demeanor and presentation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to excel in a team environment as well as work independently
Strong sense of urgency, proactivity, resourcefulness, independent and critical thinking skills, and effective problem solving
Client service-oriented mindset
The anticipated salary range for this position will be $60,000-$70,000. Salary is based on job-related factors such as: years of relevant experience, qualifications and/or certifications. Spectrum reserves the right to modify this pay range at any given time.
