About the Workday Talent & Compensation Administrator Role: 

We are searching for a self-motivated individual who is eager to contribute and learn. The ideal candidate has strong communication and interpersonal skills and enjoys working in a dynamic, team-oriented environment; experience in configuring and supporting all aspects of Workday along with keen attention to detail and timing.

The Workday Talent & Compensation Administrator handles the administration, and ongoing maintenance and support of the Talent, Performance, and Compensation modules in the Workday platform while working collaboratively with stakeholders and other Workday Administrators. 

 

Location: Bulgaria, remote (covering US region) 

Working hours: 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM/12:00 - 9:00 PM

 

What will you do?  

  • Configure and maintain Talent, Performance, Learning, & Compensation modules and dashboards. 

  • Guide talent function managers through recommendations, business process requirements gathering. You will do this through scheduling and leading necessary meetings on your own; asking relevant questions that will help with the build. 

  • You will be required to build out Employee Reviews with weighted ratings, Talent Reviews, Feedback, Skill/Competencies, Job Profiles, Succession/nbox, and the LMS on your own with minimal supervision. 

  • Manage Workday EIBs (Enterprise Interface Builder) and other data conversion tools. 

  • Complete Workday integrations, testing and documentation and help resolve integration errors as needed. Design, build, and support testing of Workday integration code base including Studio, EIB and supporting 3rd party coding. 

  • Review Workday releases and determine potential impacts and costs, present out to function leads and work with stakeholders on rollout plans. 

  • Review business procedures/workflows to ensure system features are being fully utilized and identify Workday features that may improve stakeholder efficiency. 

  • Work with the Workday Administrative team to develop, document, and implement policies, procedures, guidelines, and best practices to ensure data integrity and standardized end user processes. 

  • Provide necessary technical/tier 2+ support to L&D and HR function managers. 

  • Regularly audit talent data to ensure total cleanliness and hygiene of the HCM. Assign corrections to the talent function managers where appropriate. 

  • Assist the Workday Administrative team with audits, maintenance and documentation of tenant security policies and group permissions. 

  • Support the Workday administrative team with configuration, maintenance and support of all Workday modules as needed. 

  • Perform analysis into stakeholder requests and/or root cause of problems and resolve as quickly as possible with the appropriate approvals. 

  • Support data conversion and migration processes in collaboration with the Data and Reporting Team. 

  • Train talent function managers on new features and standard operating procedures. 

  • Continually monitor Workday community for updates and trainings for self and business partners. 

 

 

What will you need to succeed?

  • 4+ years of experience in a Workday administration role. 

  • 5+ years of of experience with web applications development with proficiency in web service technologies (REST, SOAP, JSON, JavaScript, XML) and OAuth. 

  • Proven experience with configuration of Workday Performance and Talent modules on your own. 

  • Proven experience with configuration of Workday Learning and Development modules on your own. 

  • Proven experience with configuration of Workday Compensation modules on your own. 

  • Experience developing process documentation content, including standard operating procedures and front-end user-guides. 

  • Workday Certification or ability to certify in Studio for Integrations is a plus 

  • Experience with benefits, time, absence, pay, and learning modules is a major plus. 

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously. 

  • Ability to collaborate with people across the organization at all levels and with varying technical skill/knowledge. 

  • Ability to prioritize (and re-prioritize) as business needs change using Agile project management techniques. 

  • Self-motivated to accomplish work unsupervised and in a quick manner. 

  • Analytical abilities, critical thinking, and problem-solving competencies to support non-standard, unique problem resolution.
