Our product & team
This role is within the team that designs and develops CSQ Quote & Order, a cutting-edge order management and quoting platform. Built using the latest technology, our platform modernizes industries like telecommunications and banking.
Our team promotes a collaborative culture where everyone’s contributions are valued, and diversity is celebrated. We prioritize continuous learning and improvement to keep our product competitive, and ensure CSG remains an exciting workplace.
Due to growing demand from high-profile customers, our team is expanding in 2025 and that's where you come in!
Our product adopts a microservice architecture for scalability and flexibility, using Kafka for event streaming and PostgreSQL for data storage. We use Kubernetes to orchestrate our containers, allowing us to offer cloud (AWS & Azure) and on-premise deployment options of our platform. Our infrastructure is maintained by a state-of-the-art gitops/IaC pipeline.
In short, we have a really modern platform, and we take our testing very seriously!
Our testing process leverages automation for both UI and API testing, significantly improving test coverage and efficiency. With Cucumber, we create automation scripts that utilise the behaviour-driven development (BDD) methodology. This allows us to write tests in a straightforward, human-readable format, promoting better understanding and collaboration across our team. Our automation scripts are managed using Git and undergo peer review before being released into the wild.
As a Lead Test Engineer, you will drive our technical direction, mentor and empower your team, and collaborate across squads to improve the quality of the CSG Quote & Order product.
