Job description

Join a fast-growing, seed-stage company on a mission to revolutionize design collaboration. At Atarim, it’s GO TIME, and we’re looking for a future COO in the making: a driven, strategic thinker who can take ownership of our operations and who can get its hands dirty as we scale from 26 to 40-45 team members by the end of 2025.

This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with the founders, stepping into a foundational role that will shape the company’s future. As a Lead Operations, you will lay the groundwork for scalable processes, foster a high-performing culture, and align operations with Atarim’s ambitious growth goals.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, combines big-picture thinking with tactical execution, and is ready to grow into a key leadership role as our future COO within a few years. Your responsibilities:

Operational Strategy and Execution

  • Translate the company’s vision into actionable operational plans, ensuring alignment across all teams. 
  • Design scalable systems and workflows to support rapid growth while minimizing inefficiencies. 
  • Use data and metrics to monitor performance, optimize processes, and drive improvements.

Financial Oversight

  • Collaborate on budget planning and management, ensuring effective resource allocation. 
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining operational excellence. 
  • Provide insights from financial and operational data to guide decision-making.

People & Culture

  • Build a Winning Team: Attract, onboard, and retain top talent aligned with Atarim’s vision & values. 
  • Bridge Leadership and Teams: Connect strategy with execution, ensuring alignment and clear communication.
  • Develop Leaders: Support managers in building strong, capable teams.

Risk and Compliance 

  • Identify and mitigate risks while ensuring adherence to global regulations and company policies.

Requirements

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience: 4+ years in operations, strategy, or project management roles, ideally within a startup, SaaS, or scaling organization.
  • Process-Driven: Demonstrated success in designing and implementing scalable systems and workflows that improve efficiency.
  • Financial Acumen: Experience with budget planning, resource allocation, and leveraging data to guide decision-making.
  • Data-Driven: Skilled at using metrics and analytics to monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and drive improvements.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven track record of working cross-functionally and fostering collaboration between teams and leadership.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable navigating ambiguity and leading change in a dynamic, fast-growth environment.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient with tools like Jira, Slack, G Suite, and other SaaS platforms that support operations and scaling.
  • People-Centric: A natural team builder who can attract, onboard, and retain top talent while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience leading operational improvements in a remote-first or distributed team environment.
  • Knowledge of global labor laws and compliance best practices.
  • Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) or Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
  • Expertise in change management or introducing new technologies to streamline
