Your mission
We are looking for a talented and energized Product Design Working Student to join our growing team. You will be responsible for creating exceptional user experiences and visually appealing user interfaces in either our flagship mobile app, 1KOMMA5° Heartbeat, or our suite of Virtual Assembly Line tools. You will have a chance to directly drive impact and work with an exceptional team on one of the world’s most pressing problems. 

As a Product Design Working Student you will:

  • Work collaboratively with designers, product managers, data scientists, and developers to define problems, lead research initiatives & create high fidelity design solutions for new and existing features.

  • Quickly understanding complex models & problems, and designing intuitive, elegant, user-centric solutions.

  • Facilitating and executing qualitative and quantitative research methods, such as user interviews, surveys, and usability testing with our rapidly expanding user-base.

  • Collaborating with 1K5º designers to sharpen your design craft, with a huge opportunity to slingshot your career development.


Your profile

The successful candidate will have:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in User Experience Design, Interaction Design, Human Computer Interaction, or a related field

  • A strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and thought process (academic projects are welcome!)

  • A strong grasp and command of Figma

  • A sense of quality for intuitive user experiences, interaction patterns, and visual design.

  • A finger on the pulse of design trends and industry best practices

  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, positive, and energized attitude

Bonus points for:

  • Experience or knowledge of the climate tech industry

  • German fluency
