As the Clinical Services Leader at Verana Health, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of healthcare. Reporting to the Senior Director of Practice Experience, you will lead our services focused on delivering Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) consulting to healthcare organizations. Your leadership will drive client engagement, project management, and regulatory compliance, ensuring seamless reporting and optimization for our clients.

Essential Skills for Success 

  • Business Acumen: A strong understanding of healthcare operations, regulatory frameworks, and financial management to drive strategic initiatives effectively.
  • Consultative Expertise: Proven experience in consulting within the healthcare sector, particularly with MIPS or quality data reporting.
  • Leadership & Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills to lead a diverse team and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Analytical Thinking: The ability to identify challenges, analyze data, and implement innovative solutions that enhance client satisfaction.
  • Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to managing multiple projects while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Management, Health Informatics, Public Health, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in a consulting environment specific to MIPS or quality data reporting.
  • Strong understanding of the CMS Quality Payment Program, including electronic Clinical Quality Measures (eCQMs) and MIPS Clinical Quality Measures (CQMs).
  • Experience guiding clinicians through MIPS reporting and compliance.
  • Highly organized with demonstrated project management skills.
  • Relevant experience in therapeutic areas such as Ophthalmology, Neurology, or Urology.
  • Certification as a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or similar.
  • Project management certifications.
  • Familiarity with CRMs (Salesforce preferred).

We construct our compensation ranges based on the US national average but your pay may vary depending on your location and the cost of living index for that geographic area. In determining an offer, base salary will also be based on experience, qualifications, skills and market conditions.
