Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Resource Coordinator with a strong background in engineering or construction, that will play a key role in ensuring the seamless execution of our projects and logistics operations. Someone who will be responsible for coordinating with project engineers, managing logistics, overseeing rail work, and handling the day-to-day operations related to trucks and truck drivers. The role will involve multitasking and liaising with various departments to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Engineering Coordination:
Collaborate with project engineers to ensure project plans and specifications are understood and executed.
Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and facilitate solutions.
Track project milestones and deliverables, ensuring they align with project timelines.

Logistics Management:
Coordinate logistics operations to ensure timely and efficient delivery of materials and equipment.
Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize cost and performance.
Maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure reliable service and material availability.

Rail Work Oversight:
Oversee rail work projects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.
Coordinate with rail service providers and contractors to manage schedules and resolve issues.
Monitor the progress of rail projects and report on performance.

Truck and Driver Management:
Manage truck fleet operations, including scheduling, maintenance, and inspections.
Supervise truck drivers, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
Optimize route planning and manage transportation logistics to enhance efficiency.

Administrative Duties:
Prepare and maintain accurate documentation and reports related to projects, logistics, and transportation.
Develop and enforce operational procedures and best practices.
Provide support in budget preparation and cost control.

Safety and Compliance:
Ensure all operations comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Implement and enforce safety protocols for project sites, trucks, and rail work.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in operations coordination, project management, logistics, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of logistics, rail work, and fleet management.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with logistics management software.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
