Project Manager – Industrial Engineering in F&B

We’re an organization that is growing quickly globally through recent acquisitions. With growth expected to continue for the next 5-10 years, we’re now looking for a diligent and tireless Project Manager to help manage our global portfolio of projects in France & Italy.

 

 

About the role

 

As a Project Manager, you’ll be managing a variety of large multimillion dollar capital projects across in France & Italy. You’ll do this by collaborating regularly with our internal support functions such as engineering and other key business stakeholders and clients across the world. Project Management experience in the food and beverage industry is strongly desired for this role.

 

Your location as suitable to local office in Evreux France. Remote working from home or another location is also possible but then we require you to be 2-4 days a month in the Evreux office for team weekly meetings in Evreux.

 

As our EMEA engineering is not only Evreux but also in Denmark / Poland & Czech Republic you should be ready to travel to these locations in function of the project needs.

A regular customer visit is required (minimum once every 2 weeks) to manage your customers.

 

On a day-to-day basis your main responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

 

  • Ensuring all phases of the project are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner
  • Ensuring the project is delivered to SPX FLOW and customer quality standards
  • Construct well-structured project programs to facilitate the execution of the project and communicate these accurately both with internal resource leaders and the client, to ensure the project is accurately tracked and updated.
  • Support the SPX FLOW BPO (bid process owner) at sales stage with planning, risk management & project execution strategy
  • Carry out the necessary weekly / monthly project review meetings with the client and internal team members & generate required reports
  • Customer satisfaction
  • Travel will be required through Europe and to support allocated projects as written above.

This is a role with huge potential for you to make your mark during this exciting time of growth and expansion. What’s more, due to the international nature of the roles, you could find yourself working in locations in Europe, Dubai or even China.

 

 

Requirements

 

We’re looking for people who are hardworking and have that drive and enjoys delivering large complex projects (up to 20 million euro and more) successfully. Although you’ll be working with different stakeholders across the spectrum, you’ll also need to be comfortable working remotely whether that is from home or one of our global locations.

 

As a minimum, we’re looking for you to have:

 

  • Project management experience & engineering awareness in food / pharma / beverage / industrial engineering applications.
  • English, French & Italian language skills.
  • Ability to communicate with a diverse range of audiences and stakeholders.
  • Experience using Microsoft Project.
  • A strong track record of delivering large-scale complex projects up to 20 million euro and more in the food and beverage industry.
  • Skilled in SAP for project reporting an advantage.
  • Degree in Chemical / Mechanical / Dairy Food engineering desired.

Although not essential, it would also be nice if you have:

 

  • Experience working with international teams
