Our Climate Change & Sustainability Services (CCaSS) team provides companies with advice on how to respond to social, environmental, and economic challenges. We assist our clients in reporting sustainability information, advise them on how to manage emerging risks and help them reduce costs by designing and implementing systems and processes. Additionally, we navigate clients through leveraging opportunities in areas such as climate change, green and sustainable finance, health and safety, labor law, non-financial disclosure, and the setup of relevant processes.
Your opportunity
We are looking for a talented and dynamic individual to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in consulting related to sustainability/ESG, sustainable finance, processes and/or non-financial reporting. A strong affinity for technology and an interest in integrating SAP solutions in the sustainability area are also essential.
As an SAP ESG consultant in our team, you will play a key role in the implementation, optimization, and integration of SAP solutions focused on ESG processes and reporting. This will contribute to enhancing our clients’ readiness for a sustainable business future. In this role, you will collaborate with various teams to achieve sustainable goals, perform data analyses, ensure regulatory compliance, and generate actionable insights from related ESG data using the latest market solutions.
Your key responsibilities
Implementation and configuration of SAP ESG solutions:
•Lead or support the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP ESG solutions (e.g., SAP Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S), SAP S/4HANA for sustainability, SAP Sustainability Control Tower)
•Customize SAP tools to support the measurement of environmental impact, carbon footprint tracking, corporate responsibility initiatives, and governance frameworks
ESG reporting and analyses:
•Develop and implement ERP tools for collecting, reporting, and analyzing ESG data using SAP tools
Business process optimization:
•Analyze existing business processes and design SAP solutions to improve practices in both sustainability and data collection
•Identify opportunities to automate and enhance processes that contribute to ESG goals, such as reducing waste, energy consumption, and carbon dioxide emissions
ESG data management:
•Ensure the integrity and accuracy of ESG data in SAP platforms, providing support to clients with data migration, cleansing, and integration
•Work closely with key stakeholders to gather ESG requirements and ensure that data complies with regulatory standards
Training and support:
•Deliver training and knowledge to clients on SAP ESG tools and functionalities
•Provide ongoing post-implementation support to clients
Continuous improvement and innovation:
•Monitor the latest trends in ESG, SAP innovations, and global regulatory changes impacting sustainability
•Drive continuous improvement in ESG practices by implementing new tools, functionalities, and methodologies within the SAP framework
Skills and attributes for success
•Completed university education with a master’s degree
•Experience with projects focused on sustainability, corporate social responsibility, ESG, climate change, non-financial reporting, or consulting on SAP solutions, along with a noticeable interest in the ESG agenda
•Knowledge of SAP tools, as well as those specific to sustainability (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP EHS, SAP Greenhouse Gas Emissions Management, or similar modules), is considered an advantage
•Ability to comprehensively understand business requirements, strong business acumen, and excellent communication skills
•Ability to effectively cooperate in diverse teams and with stakeholders at different levels, both internally and with clients
•Proactive approach, innovative thinking, and willingness to learn and develop in new areas
