Job description

This is a remote position.

Our Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Paralegal with extensive experience in U.S. immigration processes to join our team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and has a deep understanding of U.S. immigration laws and procedures. You are tech-savvy, excellent at managing deadlines, and capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You take pride in your ability to draft accurate documentation, communicate effectively with clients, and support attorneys with precision and professionalism.

As the Paralegal, you will provide excellence by:

  • Preparing and organizing immigration documents, forms, and petitions for submission to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), Department of Labor (DOL), and other related agencies.

  • Conducting legal research on immigration policies, case law, and regulations to support attorneys in providing up-to-date counsel.

  • Assisting with employment-based immigration processes, including H-1B, L-1, O-1, PERM applications, and family-based petitions.

  • Drafting and proofreading legal correspondence, affidavits, and other supporting documents.

  • Maintaining meticulous records of case files, deadlines, and updates in legal management systems.

  • Acting as a liaison between attorneys, clients, and government agencies, ensuring smooth communication and timely updates.

  • Monitoring case status and notifying attorneys or clients of changes, additional requirements, or upcoming deadlines.

  • Supporting attorneys with preparation for client meetings, interviews, or hearings.

  • Staying current on U.S. immigration law developments and advising the team of any relevant updates.

  • Handling other administrative or legal tasks as assigned to support the immigration practice.



Requirements

Do you have what it takes to be our Paralegal?

Consider yourself highly qualified if you have:

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Paralegal specializing in U.S. immigration cases.

  • Proficiency in preparing immigration filings, including I-129, I-140, I-485, DS-160, and other relevant forms.

  • Familiarity with legal research platforms and case management tools.

  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.

  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact professionally with clients and attorneys.

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Law, Political Science, or a related field (paralegal certification preferred).

  • Must be currently residing in the Philippines.

Expected Work Hours and Timezone
This is a full-time, work-from-home opportunity aligned with U.S. hours. The role requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, with flexibility to adapt as needed to meet business demands.
