The Senior Policy Administration Professional creates, reviews, and maintains catalog of company policies and procedures. The Senior Policy Administration Professional oversees and maintains the Work at Home, Hep B, TB, International Travel, Business Continuity and Merger and acquisitions programs/responsibilities. The Senior Policy Administration Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

The Senior Policy Administration Professional works with policy owners, creates documentation and write policies governing company processes and practices. Begins to influence department’s strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5 or more years of direct policy creating or understanding documentation and policies governing company processes and practices for states and regulatory laws and compliance.
  • Progressive strategic and operational experience in a leadership capacity with the ability to consult and coach on policy to ensure state and local compliance is being upheld
  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills, to create and draft communications with Corporate Communications
  • Demonstrated strong Emotional Intelligence to deescalate and provide conflict resolution for various teams and leadership paths
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
  • Ability to cross collaborate and work across the enterprise effectively and efficiently
  • Demonstrated ability to work with Senior Leadership on escalations and resolutions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree of Business Administration or policy Administration/Legal experience/background
  • Strong comfort with financial acumen including experience managing data and numbers
  • Experience in Workday, ServiceNow and Microsoft platforms
  • Previous experience facilitating trainings
  • Previous HealthCare Administration experience

Work-At-Home Requirements:
To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates must meet the following criteria:
•    At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested
•    Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership
•    Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
•    Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
•    Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


 

$71,100 - $97,800 per year


 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
