The Opportunity:
We are looking for an experienced strategic Google Ads Paid Search (PPC) Strategist to join our team. R esponsible for building, executing and optimizing client search strategies on Google Ads and Microsoft Ads. This includes compiling recommendations, researching opportunities and leveraging PPC best practices that generate leads and maximize ROI for our clients. The PPC Strategist should be experienced in analyzing complex data and making data-driven decisions.
What you’ll do:
Research clients' websites to understand online goals and objectives
Develop a paid search (PPC) strategy including keyword research, audience targeting, and ad copy / messaging
Manage and optimize multiple paid search (PPC) campaign performance through continuous A/B testing, competitor analysis, keyword research, creative optimizations and trend insights to achieve client KPI targets across a variety of industries
Identify landing page optimizations to improve lead generation and sales
Monitor campaign performance and budget management
Communicate regularly with Account Managers
Assist Postmedia sales team in presales strategic support
Support Account Management team with monthly and quarterly client reporting and client presentations
Who you are:
2 + years of direct experience building, managing and optimizing PPC campaigns on Google Ads PPC campaigns on Google Ads
Experience working in an agency or other organization where you manage multiple clients and stakeholders is an asset
In-dept h knowledge of the Google Ads platform (Search, Display, Shopping, Video, Remarketing)
Experience implementing conversion tracking through Google Tag Manager. Ability to troubleshoot problems if necessary
Up-to-date with the latest paid search (PPC) trends and best practices
Able to understand and interpret data using analytics and reporting tools . Experienced with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Data Studio is an asset
Excellent presentation skills and comfortable speaking in client/project meetings
Excellent written skills, with the ability to write compelling ad copy
Detail-oriented and ensuring Quality Assurance processes are met
Self-starter, all hands-on deck attitude
Thrive in a fast-paced environment with the ability to pivot, multi-task and problem-solve.
Google Ads Certification is required
Bilingual is an asset
