Job description

We're building a new healthcare clearinghouse

In the healthcare sector, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) requires that all insurance payers exchange transactions such as claims, eligibility checks, prior authorizations, and remittances using a standardized EDI format called X12 HIPAA. A small group of legacy clearinghouses process the majority of these transactions, offering consolidated connectivity to carriers and providers.

Stedi is building the world’s only API-first clearinghouse. By offering modern API interfaces alongside traditional real-time and batch EDI processes, we enable both healthcare technology businesses and established players to exchange mission-critical transactions.

What we’re looking for 

Stedi is the world’s only API-first clearinghouse. By offering modern connectivity for verifying insurance coverage, processing claims, and ingesting payment reconciliations, healthcare technology companies can focus on optimizing provider and patient experience without the burden of building around dated legacy interfaces.

Stedi is looking for an Account Executive with a track record of exceeding targets selling into healthcare technology and services organizations. As an AE, you will focus on hunting and closing new opportunities for deals of all sizes across digital health, revenue cycle management, and electronic health record companies. As an early member of our sales team, you’ll have the opportunity to have an outsized impact on our business and your career as we rapidly scale. 

What you'll do
  • Identify and work new opportunities across digital health providers, revenue cycle management (RCM), and EMR/EHR companies. You’ll build trust and rapport, generate interest, and create a sense of urgency.

  • Communicate compelling business cases for prospects and bring in product specialists or sales engineers to a deal when needed.

  • Build and manage a pipeline from initial outreach to close, and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals

  • Maintain operational excellence in HubSpot

  • Understand customer needs and requirements; communicate the business impact of Stedi’s product offerings to key decision makers at a customer’s executive level

  • Collaborate closely with the Product and Customer Success to contribute to a strategy that bolsters Stedi’s business and sets customers up for success

Who you are
  • You have a history of sales excellence. You’re innately competitive with a track record of exceptional sales performance amongst your peers. 

  • You’ve sold technology into healthcare service organizations. You’ve sold to product management, IT, finance, engineering, and/or revenue cycle leadership teams.

  • You are exceptional at staying on top of many open threads simultaneously. You are hyper-responsive, organized, and thorough. You almost never drop balls. You’re relentless about driving efficiency.

  • You do what it takes to get the job done. You act like an owner and don’t wait to be told what to do. No task is too small to find success, generate revenue, and deliver value for our customers.

  • You have experience selling B2B SaaS. You’ve sold complex B2B software virtually and have mastered the tools and technologies required to do so.

  • You’re a natural problem solver with exceptional “clock speed”. You build trust and rapport quickly, can analyze a prospect’s business needs then lead them to a solution over the course of a demo call. You’re comfortable diving into technical concepts with executives. 

  • You move fast. We move fast as an organization. This requires an ability to match our pace and not get lost by responding with urgency (both externally to customers and internally to stakeholders), communicating what you are working on, and proactively asking for help or feedback when you need it.

Compensation

  • $200k - $225k OTE dependent on experience

  • Competitive equity based on experience
