Your role at Exness:

Our team is growing and we are currently looking for an experienced Virtualisation's DevOps Engineer.

As a Virtualisation's DevOps Engineer you will manage, support and develop the Company’s virtualization platform and will have experience with public and private clouds (OpenStack-based is liked), Kubernetes management, software defined networks and storage.

If you are not already located in Cyprus, relocation to Cyprus is a requirement for this role.

You will:

Scope of technical work planning.
Reviewing and updating technical requirements.
Conducting PoC of new developing solutions.
Representing results matching requirements with a strong technical systematic approach.
Developing deployment procedures, scripts, playbook, HCL.
Deploying virtualisation environments / private clouds within automation.
Supporting existing and new virtualisation platforms deployments.
Developing deployment automation on top of virtualisation platforms / private clouds.
Maintaining observability for virtualisation platforms.
Ensuring platforms availability and reliability.
Communicating with Platform Engineering and SRE teams.
Updating software with security patches.
Testing and rolling out software upgrades.

What makes you a great fit:

Strong engineering education. (Bachelor / Master degree in Computer Science or equivalent).
Good IP-based network understanding with experience in SDN (software defined networks).
Strong Linux mastering skills (namespaces, cgroup, qemu/kvm).
Proficient in Containerisation and Orchestration systems (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, OpenShift).
Advanced understanding of virtualisation on qemu/kvm.
Experience with OpenStack (Keystone, Cinder, Neutron, Nova, Glance, Octavia at least).
Experience with storage connected to virtualisation platforms / private cloud.
Well scripting skills in Terraform and Ansible (AWX is a plus).
Scripting skills with Helm charts.
Experience with Observability (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, ELK).
Team player skills.
Good communication skills.
English language proficiency at or above upper-intermediate level (for international collaboration and studying English-language standards and documentation).
