Key Responsibilities
Participate in an on-call rota to provide 24/7 fault response to maintain service continuity
Complete planned works and maintenance on a range of systems and networks, DAB, FM, AM etc
Respond to faults and service outages and complete corrective maintenance in line with Arqiva standards, policies and procedures
Support upgrades and modifications to existing RF (Radio frequency) systems and networks following agreed instructions
Maintain accurate records, documentation and reporting of actions taken
Complete testing and measurements to ensure compliance with regulatory, industry and customer requirements
Engage with customers and build positive working relationships
Career progression next step in your career would be to become an engineer
Preferred Experience
Must have a Clean driving license
Some knowledge of the development, testing and maintenance of software/hardware for Broadcast, IP Network, IOT or corporate application depending on technical area of expertise
Working knowledge of systems and equipment relevant to role such as RF systems, DVB, Analogue Radio, DAB, Microwaves, Sat Comms, Data Networks, Telecoms etc.;.
Working knowledge of the principles of power supplies, environmental controls, analogue and digital electronics
Working knowledge of and able to apply Safety, Health and Environment legislation, policies and procedures
Be prepared to work away from home at times
