SOFTWARE ENGINEER - TECHNICAL LEADER FULL STACK

FUNCTION

As a Software Engineer, you handle the development of solutions that ensure the communication between the satellites and the control centers.

In collaboration with your colleagues, you oversee development and improvement projects from A to Z:

Definition and analysis of the customers’ needs and requirements to find the perfect solution(s)

Architecture building and detailed design

Development of the application components (front-end & back-end) using the most recent technologies (Java, Angular, Spring Boot, docker, Kubernetes, …)

Validation of the software components and acceptance with the client

Deployment of the solution at space agencies or customer premises.

All this, following the Agile methodology that allows to work in sync with other team members, share knowledge and make suggestions. Throughout the project, you also have the opportunity to interact with space agencies and sub-contractors.

PROFILE

As a Software Engineer, you have:

Master's degree preferred (or a Bachelor’s degree with minimum 5 years of experience), ideally in one of the following fields: computer sciences, engineering or equivalent with a strong affinity for IT

A first experience as software engineer or developer

A solid expertise in front-end and back-end development (Java and Python programming language)

A solid knowledge of technical English

An interest for the space sector

And beyond the IT aspect, you are also:

Creative in the way you solve problems and solutions-oriented

A team player and a good communicator

Eager to learn and grow your skill levels

Rigorous and concerned by the quality of the output delivered

A leader, with the ability to manage both the technical and human priorities
