Reporting to the VP of Finance, we are seeking a Revenue Cycle Manager. You are a data-driven individual who will lead our dedicated and high-performing revenue cycle function. You’ll be responsible for directing all functions of the organization’s billing and revenue cycle to maximize cash flow while maintaining and improving internal and external customer relations. You will be responsible for leading the overall strategy and optimization of the Revenue Cycle for Carrum. This encompasses all billing and revenue operations, related systems, policies & procedures, collections and provider experience.  You’ve hustled, you’ve created, you’ve implemented, and you love the intensity of a startup in high-growth mode.

This is a full time position, the salary range for this role is $80,000 - $100,000 depending on level of experience and geographic location.

  • Own all aspects of the cash conversion cycle. This includes managing timely, efficient, and accurate invoicing, high-quality accounts receivable, and collections.
  • Perform and oversee all aspects of Revenue Recognition and monthly close.
  • Develops and implements Revenue Cycle Management initiatives, strategic goals, and key performance indicators consistent with the organizational vision.
  • Coaching and bringing out the best in our team members and ensuring that they develop as professionals.
  • Being adept at mapping out new processes, and improving existing ones
  • Leads change management to implement new and best practices.
  •  Strategy alignment and execution in a manner that emphasizes communication, transparency of progress, and accountability with organizational goals.

 

We’re excited about you because…

  • Bachelor's degree in a related area or four years of equivalent experience.
  • 5+  years experience in medical billing, 5+ years’ experience in healthcare revenue cycle management with 2+ years experience in a supervisory role. 
  • Knowledge of professional fee billing, reimbursement and medical terminology is
  • required. Netsuite experience is preferred.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  •  Demonstrated experience with Medicare and Managed Care billing.
  • Strong leadership, and interpersonal skills with excellent and adaptable written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to organize, manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and delegate assignments efficiently.
  • Able to handle highly sensitive, confidential, and non-routine information.
  • Experience in management within a customer service focused environment.
  • Experience working in high-growth environments.
  • Proven experience with continuous process improvement.Thorough knowledge of revenue cycle management practices and concepts, billing, coding, and collection.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to quickly analyze problems, determine appropriate levels of intervention, and develop and apply effective solutions.
  • Solid interpersonal skills and persuasiveness, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse clinical, business, technical, and financial personnel at all professional and technical levels.
  • Collaboration skills to work effectively across the company on new metrics, standardization of reporting/data and project management processes.
  • Skilled in written and verbal communications, with the ability to effectively motivate others, to convey complex information clearly and concisely, and to prepare and present a variety of reports and analyses.
  •  In-depth knowledge of all relevant information technology, including systems, tools, applications, processes, and methodologies. Excel is a must.
  • The ability to work onsite in San Francisco 1 to 3 days a week.
