Summary
The Sr IS Technical Trainer is a subject matter expert in their assigned application areas, including Epic's billing applications to include Resolute Professional Billing (PB) and Resolute Hospital Billing (HB). This role is responsible for designing, developing, and updating training curricula, materials and classroom environments, as well as managing Rush's online training resources. The Sr IS Technical Trainer works closely with IS Technical trainers to ensure they are equipped to deliver effective training to Rush users. Additionally, the Sr Technical Trainer collaborates with application teams to evaluate and address updates that impact training and the workflows of Rush users.

Create Curriculum and Materials for Training Sessions
Prepare Technical Trainers for Facilitating and Teaching Training Sessions
Maintain Training Environment(s)
Create and Maintain Online Training Resources
Manage the Rush Learning Management System
Enroll Rush Users in Training Sessions
Provide Application Support for Rush Staff
Coordinate Application Training Sessions
Facilitate and Teach Application Training Sessions
Comply with Rush and Information Services Policies and Procedures
Complete Other Duties as Assigned
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree
Relevant Application Certification(s)
Experience creating training curriculum and materials.
Experience maintaining application training environments
Proficiency with technology and commonly used programs
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Preferred Job Qualifications
Experience with Adobe Captivate.
Familiarity with adult learning theories.
