Enterprise Software Administrator position. This position may be filled remotely, or in any of our locations.
The Enterprise Software Administrator is responsible for the management, configuration, and maintenance of an organization's enterprise software systems to ensure optimal performance and alignment with business objectives. This role involves overseeing software installations, upgrades, and patches, as well as troubleshooting user issues. They will collaborate with various departments to understand their software needs, provide technical support, and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime. The Enterprise Software Administrator also plays a key role in evaluating new software solutions, contributing to strategic planning, and implementing best practices to enhance system efficiency and user satisfaction. Essential job functions include:
- Responsible for the administration and maintenance of applications related to Enterprise Applications including and not limited to NetDocuments, XpressDocs, Litera Desktop and Suite of applications, Compulaw, Anaqua-Pattsy IP Docket and InterAction.
- Responsible for enterprise and other practice facing applications.
- Performs systems operations, upgrades, maintenance and modifications.
- Acts as technical lead for troubleshooting relating to document management and related integrated applications.
- Responsible for capacity planning, quality control, testing and documentation for the firm’s Document Management System and other enterprise applications.
- Works with vendors to ensure that document management and integrated applications (Nuance PDF, MS Office, MetaData, Workshare, DocXTools, etc.) are current.
- Maintains documentation on enterprise configurations.
- Collaborates with team members to assure they are up to date with documentation and knowledge to support firm enterprise software.
- Defines, analyzes and evaluates business systems and user, department and practice group needs relating to technology solutions.
- Makes recommendations to Associate Director of Application Solutions, Senior Director - Knowledge Management & Technology Innovation and other Firm personnel on modifications, enhancements, replacements and other improvements to the Firm’s enterprise applications.
- Provides basic project management functions for projects and activities including but not limited to project scoping, budgeting, task scheduling, resource recommendations and skill alignment.
- Coordinates with other Information Technology personnel on issues related to deployment of the Firm’s Enterprise applications.
- Responds to user issues routed by the Help Desk Analysts which are related to the Firm’s Enterprise applications. Provides feedback to Help Desk Analysts regarding solutions to identified issues.
- Provides assistance to Help Desk Analysts and firm users after normal business hours.
- Other duties as coordinated or assigned by the Associate Director of Applications Solutions or Associate Director of Application Development & Business Analysis.
Position Requirements
- 4-year degree with major coursework in related field; or combination of education and commensurate work experience required.
- 5 years’ experience in NetDocuments, administration and support required.
- Strong experience in XpressDocs, Litera Desktop and Suite of applications, Compulaw, Anaqua-Pattsy IP Docket and InterAction.
- Related experience in a professional services environment preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Office knowledge and experience.
- Strong Knowledge on the Windows Server Administration (IIS Administration Preferred).
- Experience vendor management/collaboration.
- RDBMS experience in SQL Server; skill in creating MS SQL scripts associated with form updates and database changes including insertion of data into existing tables.
- Proficient with developing applications and reports that leverage Microsoft Excel and Access, SQL Server databases, SQL Reporting services and PowerBI.
- Ability to work independently in technical analysis, evaluation, and resolution of large enterprise application production issues or problems, with little or no assistance, and to make decisions and recommendations to remediate those issues or problems.
- Proficient with standard project management methodologies.

Employees are entitled to compensation commensurate with skill and experience.
The exact compensation will vary based on skills, experience, location, and other factors permitted by law. The expected compensation ranges for this position in various states and jurisdictions are as follows:
- State of California: $82,000 - $156,000
- State of Colorado: $75,000 - $134,000
- State of Illinois: $74,000 - $143,000
- State of Maryland: $79,000 - $120,000
- State of Massachusetts: $82,000 - $156,000
- State of Minnesota: $82,000 - $135,000
- Jersey City, NJ: $89,000 - $161,000
- State of New York: $76,000 - $164,000
- State of Washington: $79,000 - $150,000
- Washington, D.C.: $106,000 - $155,000
The above salaries do not include a discretionary bonus, however bonus opportunities are non-guaranteed, and are dependent upon individual and firm performance.
