Who We're Looking For

We seek a talented C++ Engineer with strong game architecture and system design skills to join our engine development team. The ideal candidate excels at writing clean, maintainable code and possesses exceptional debugging abilities.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the engine team to architect and develop robust engine technologies.
  • Integrate new technologies into the existing engine framework to enhance performance and capabilities.
  • Deliver a comprehensive API set to interface seamlessly with Gameplay systems.
  • Work with the Tools team to design and develop interface layers between tools and the engine.
  • Ensure all development follows established workflows and gates as outlined by the Lead Engineer.
  • Adhere to coding standards and prioritize server stability in all development efforts.
  • Participate in rigorous code review processes to maintain high-quality standards.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficiency in C++ with a strong command of object-oriented programming principles.
  • Solid expertise in architecture, system design, and analytical problem-solving.
  • Demonstrated ability to write clear, maintainable, and portable code.
  • Exceptional debugging skills to identify and resolve complex issues effectively.
  • Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts and collaborate across teams.

Other Information

The work hours will be approximately 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, depending on workload, with the occasional late night when a tight deadline calls for it. We work for security-conscious clients, thus background checks will be required. Salary dependent upon experience.
