Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Korean Liaison Resource to act as a bridge between our Korean technical team and offshore development team based in India. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge and be able to effectively communicate and translate requirements between teams in both languages, ensuring smooth collaboration, project delivery, and understanding of complex technical details. This resource will be crucial in aligning both teams with the product and development goals while ensuring that all requirements are clearly understood and implemented.

Location: Remote (Korea/India-based)
Duration: 3-6 months (with potential for extension)
Experience: 6 to 8+ years

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a liaison between the Korean technical team and the offshore development team based in India.
  • Translate and ensure accurate communication of technical requirements, product specifications, and project updates between both teams.
  • Understand the development process and product features to effectively bridge the gap between the Korean and Indian teams.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the offshore team by interpreting requirements, clarifying queries, and ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Track progress and provide regular updates to both teams regarding development milestones, potential issues, and risk management.
  • Facilitate technical discussions and ensure that requirements are well understood and implemented correctly.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for any technical questions or concerns between the two teams.
  • Collaborate with managers, product owners, and engineers to ensure that the project meets the business objectives and deadlines.
  • Ensure effective coordination between both teams and resolve any communication barriers related to culture, language, or technical misunderstandings.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 6 to 8+ years of experience in technical roles with a strong understanding of development processes and product lifecycles.
  • Fluency in Korean and English (written and verbal) for effective communication across teams.
  • Solid understanding of software development and the ability to comprehend and translate technical requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex technical and product discussions.
  • Experience in liaison roles or similar positions between geographically distributed teams.
  • Familiarity with Java development or programming is a significant advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work across cultural boundaries.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience working in cross-cultural teams.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies or similar development processes.
  • Familiarity with modern development tools and platforms (e.g., Git, JIRA, Jenkins).

Note: This role requires an individual who can comfortably understand both technical aspects of the product and the linguistic nuances between the Korean and Indian teams. The candidate must be able to translate complex technical content and ensure smooth communication and project execution.
