Our Logistics Team is a fantastic opportunity for the right people to help bring the event together. The Logistics team are responsible for making sure everything happens on the day as planned, in a fun, friendly, safe manner. You'll be the type of person who loves to create task lists, plan a project, organise others and think of every eventuality.

You'll be guided by previous leaders and coached by the charity trustees in every aspect of the role.
RESPONSIBILITES OF LOGISTICS TEAM
Talk to existing suppliers to understand this years prices & negotiate the best price possible
Research the market to find the best deals, perhaps finding new suppliers
Plan the list of goods required & a critical time line
Create a time line for Review & then propose suitable technology to automate processes
Record and track expenditure to ensure prices are within budget
Store or source storage to have all goods ready for the big day
Think creatively about what additional goods could be added to the baskets to enhance them further
Keep the Leadership Team updated on the plan & progress made
Requirements
Someone who loves to prepare & plan
Support the Leader in Overseeing and managing all aspects of logistics from site selection (venue) to event planning
To organise others in a warm & inspiring way
Sourcing of supporting items, ideally free of charge, such as Walkie Talkies, AV, t-shirts etc
To plan the day with methodical detail looking at every eventuality
Calm under pressure and can adapt to ever changing situations
To track tasks completed
Self motivated
Attend a fortnightly online meeting with the Logistics Team
Ideally have attended the event before
